Your adventure begins either on the water or land. Paddle through open-sea winds and sweeping horizons remind you just how alive the world can be and follow by winding mangrove channels teeming with kingfishers, mudskippers, and the quiet drama of tidal life.
Back on land, the island reveals a different kind of magic. Choose your pace — saddle up on a bicycle or lace up your boots for a trek — as you wind past weathered wooden kampong houses, a fragrant spice garden, and a living Malay village that feels worlds away from the city. The day’s crown jewel awaits at Chek Jawa, where elevated boardwalks unveil one of Singapore’s richest coastal ecosystems: seagrass lagoons, mangrove forests, and a biodiversity that will leave naturalists and adventurers alike in awe.

The Coney Wild Watch is an Amazing Race-style biodiversity challenge led by passionate OBS Alumni who know every trail, tree, and creature on Coney Island.
Teams will fan out across forest and coastal paths, eyes peeled for elusive butterflies, dragonflies, and migratory birds as they race to complete a series of nature-themed challenges. It’s part scavenger hunt, part wildlife safari, and entirely exhilarating. Whether you’re a seasoned naturalist or a first-time explorer, the island’s rich biodiversity will surprise and delight you at every turn.
